The "Quick Tip"

We schedule the time & place and type of demo, I arrive, meet you & your small group, I show you the tools needed, how to do the activity, you try it, and Presto! In only 1/2 an hour, you've seen some tools & learned how to do a home improvement!

The "Workshop"

Got a burning desire to get down to work? At a workshop you'll learn and practice a specific home improvement or repair. Gather the ladies and we'll meet at your place, a local venue, or mine for a fun learning experience using real tools, products, and sample boards. Choose from: Faux Painting, Mosaic Tiling,Drywall Repair, Basic Plumbing Repairs, Tile Installation, and others.

The "Party"

Picture a gathering of like-minded friends, family & coworkers, an introduction to some great products, new ideas & solutions; then add in a good measure of humour, some munchies & beverages, the sharing of stories and solutions, et voila! A very entertaining and light-hearted time where we can

  • teach you how to use tools safely
  • instruct you on basic home improvement repairs using simple techniques and solutions,
  • provide you with the opportunity to try the techniques yourself
  • offer you the best tools made for women today.
    • And most importantly,
  • encourage you to tackle basic home improvement projects on your own.

About Being the Hostess

This is not like any other party plan event. As the hostess, you will receive credit from your party sales to purchase tools and combos (kits) at half price and even for free! Tomboy Tool Parties are fun, informative, and there's no hard selling.

And it's easy to be the hostess! This IS NOT a fancy-schmancy event! We expect everyone to wear comforable clothes so you can roll your sleeves up for the hands-on demos. We're having a good time, not a cocktail party with the Queen! Keep it simple, with a light snack and some easy beverages. This can be part of the fun too when they're construction-related (think 'nuts-and-bolts', Rusty Nails, and Screwdrivers)!

As your Home Consultant, I'm committed to helping you have a truly successful event. We are available to help you prepare your guest list, create a customized email invitation/reminder, do follow-up reminder calls, and more. We want you to enjoy the party, not slave for it.
